I once had a friend get very upset when I suggested reading a book in relation to relationships. She took it as me telling her that her relationship had problems. Eventually, she came back to me after reading this story and realized that I was actually just trying to enlighten her on some information I gathered. Much like the people in the cave, this does not come easily for most people. It is a very important lesson and one I will always remember. You must be careful who you tell enlighting and new information too. It is human nature to get aggressive and fight new information that is different from what we think is “right” or “correct.
