Narbik's Lab books Review of CCIE Lab books in 2019 for Route and Switch. Focusing mostly on Narbik's labs but I mention some other Lab books.

Did you pass v5? or do you need to pass the v5.1? I started going through the CCIE Route Switch Written v5.1 on INE. (Basically v5 with the additional section added in). I found most of the books on O’Reilly… Two of the books can be found on Amazon, which is roughly another $100 for the two used.
I passed the 5.1 written. I’ve taken the lab once so far. Unfortunately, I just had to move, so that has thrown me off track. The only book I think should be mandatory is this one “Your CCIE Lab Success Strategy: The Non-Technical Guidebook”. The goal is to become an expert not pass an exam so it really depends on how one best learns. I like to read a lot. Even with all the books I read there is still yet other information for the Written and the Hands on that was not covered in any of the books I have read. Some of it is online.
